When I startup and choose 'Windows 7 bootloader (on /dev/sda1)' in GRUB 2, Windows 7 boot loader will appear, with only Windows 7 as the only choice and also the default operating system, with a 30 second waiting time if no input is detected. I've also tried to use 'bcdedit enum /all' but still receives error prompts. The default boot loader is GRUB 2 maintained and configured in Fedora 17.
ENCORE 5 for Windows is released Although there are better notation programs out there, I continue to use Encore because I learned it first and I still consider it to be the most user-friendly among the main contenders. After being in beta testing for some months, the Windows version is finally ready for sale. [The Mac version 5 has been available since last year.] Note that files created in the new Windows version can not yet be ported back to earlier versions, nor to the latest Mac version. [During beta testing, we learned they plan a fix for this soon.] However, a much-improved user interface and partial support for Music XML make this a worthwhile upgrade. I have used Encore since the 1980s and watched it decline from a product leader to bankruptcy. The new company that purchased the assets, has finally succeeded in developing an all-new version with the best features of the old one. But first I'd like to ask a few questions to narrow down the possible solutions that I have. • What operating system is your computer running, and the same question for the computer you are connecting to via the VPN? • When you connect via VPN, are you able to control the computer you are connected to (such as see the office computer's desktop and use its installed programs)? • If the answer to question 2 is 'yes', what e-mail program do you open on the office computer to access your e-mail? This should help me provide a more focused answer.
