Device manager--->mice and other pointing devices--->HID-compliant device(double click)--->details--->hardware ids in property--->PID: 8417or 8418--->Return to the previous interface(HID-compliant device)--->right button--->enable There are four differents HID-compliant device in your computer, so please search for the correct PID (8417or 8418) in HID-compliant device. Now I am not sure if my laptop supports or really does not have the touchscreen feature enabled. I just need clarification and assistance with this. Funny thing is, the Tablet and Pen Settings option in Control Panel is not available. So I created a shortcut icon for this using notepad and I was able to launch it. However, when I clicked on Pen And Touch > Go To Pen and Touch >Configure your Pen and Touch Settings, I was getting the error below: ' Tablet and Pen Settings Unavailable. For assistance Contact the manufacturer of your Tablet Computer ( error=0 ) ' Option to Calibrate the Display under Display options is Greyed out as well. Hope you guys can find another workaround for this.
